As we come to the close of the year, we thank God for the lives that have been impacted through the E2E programme.
The Society held a successful promoter’s refresher training for 23 active promoters from different parts of the Country at ACK Guesthouse in Nairobi. This was a great time for sharing feedback, insights, inspirations, and strategies as we head to 2024 to accelerate God’s vision for Kenyan Communities through audio and visual Scriptures.
We received heartwarming testimonies from the promoters who undergo myriad challenges to get the Word to the people.
Mary Lolmakar is a Pastor from Samburu. She oversees three Churches scattered in the area. She covers 27 kilometres amidst bad roads and terrible weather to share the gospel with members of her community. She thanks the Bible Society of Kenya for giving her audio Bibles which she says are very effective tools for ministry. She is encouraged by Paul in the Bible who never got tired of spreading the gospel despite the challenges he faced.
Rhoda Patterson from Bungoma began listening to the audio Bible with her parents back in the village. The neighbours got attracted to the Bible and would come to listen in, as a result, two people gave their lives to Christ. She also introduced the Bible to her home Church where congregants would listen to it during the mid-week service, and they greatly appreciated learning God’s word.
We thank God for the fire that was rekindled in the hearts of the promoters will cause a movement in Kenya that will see many souls come to Christ.
