Global Patrons Fellowship Launched

The Bible Society of Kenya hosted the Global Patrons Fellowship on September 7th, 2023, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nairobi.

The forum brought together various patrons to discuss ways to support Bible work in Kenya and beyond. The patrons heard from BSK leaders about the Society’s programmes, the impact that Bibles have had on the lives of individuals and communities in Kenya and the opportunities available for supporting Bible work in Kenya.

BSK desires to reach more children with the word of God to ensure that the next generation is empowered with the truth. Currently, schools in Kenya have approximately 16 million children most of whom have no Bibles. BSK desires to reach at least 200,000 children annually with Bibles to encourage knowledge of God’s word, positive behaviour change and an increased love for God.

The patrons were inspired by the stories they heard and committed to supporting BSK’s work. In addition to the financial support, the patrons shared their insights on how to reach new audiences with the Bible and how to make the Bible more accessible.

The Global Patrons Fellowship was a valuable opportunity for BSK to build relationships with partners who will support BSK’s work now and in the years to come.

The Bible Society of Kenya is grateful to the patrons for their commitment and support. With their help, BSK will be able to continue its mission of making the Bible available to everyone, in every language.
